Techmania - The Future on the plate
Anotace
We eat, to live, not the other way around. Every day we need to supply our body with nutrients and water, but this biological need became a cultural and industrial matter. The food became one of the most important topics of today and it will become even more up to date with the expansion of population. Exposition “The future on the plate” in Techmania Science Centre helps the visitors to orient themselves in the huge amount of information, that are connected to food these days, for example: how to balance one’s diet, how the meat finds its way to the shop’s counter, how does the microwave work, how fast and long must one run to burn one table of chocolate, etc. But the most important is: the quality of our lives depends on the food we eat.
